The webinar titled 'Exploring Generative AI in UK Higher Education: Perspectives from Institutions, Educators, and Students' was organized on the 2nd of May, 2025 by The Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) Research Interest Group 154 (Education and Technology), Critical EdTech India (CETI), and IT for Change (ITfC).
Dr. Skye Zhao, Lecturer, Manchester Institute of Education and expert on digital technology in education, spoke about different aspects of the advent and use of Generative AI in higher educational institutions in the UK, and touched upon the broader issues that arise from the use of Generative AI from different perspectives. She also engaged with the discussant, Dr Anurag Shukla, and took questions from the audience.
